It positions the camshafts in the TDC position which slackens and tightens the bolts attached to the camshaft gears.
This kit compares to the Mercedes Benz factory tool #270 589 01 61 00 and works on the 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 engines found in Mercedes-Benz and Infiniti models from 2012 and newer - A-Class, B-Class, CLA, GLA, GLB, CLS, E-Class, S-Class, GLE, GLS, C63, E63, GLC63, GLE63, Q50, Q60, and QX30.
